The jollof rice feud between is reaching new hilarious heights as British-Nigerian Heavyweight Champion Anthony Joshua told Manchester United player that Nigerian Jollof is best.
Anthony Joshua had visited the Manchester united ground while the players were having their training regimen on Saturday.
Joshua also met manager Jose Mourinho who presented him with a signed United shirt with ‘Joshua 1’ on the back.
The British fighter was in town following an appearance at The Lowry on Friday evening, where he spoke about his life and career to date, including how he wrestled the WBA and IBO titles from Klitschko to add to his IBF title, The Mail UK reports.
A number of United players documented Joshua’s visit to Carrington on their social media accounts and posted pictures with the popular boxer.
Timothy Fosu-Mensah, Ashley Young and Jesse Lingard were among the players who greeted their visitor and congratulated him on his brilliant Wembley performance.
In an Instagram video shared with Fosu-Mensah, they both made reference to how much they loved African food such as pounded yam, with Anthony specifically mentioning the Nigerian Jollof rice is best and Fosu-Mensah disagreeing.
