No fewer than 37 officers and soldiers of the Nigerian Army tackling the Boko Haram insurgency in the northeast have been promoted.
The 37 officers were selected for special recognition after the assessment of the operations of troops fighting the Boko Haram insurgents.
Aminu Iliyasu, the Nigerian Army Operations media coordinator, said the officers listed for the reward will be given Special Letters of Commendation.
