A thirty-eight year old Nigerian married to a 50 year old Russian woman has died suddenly of a heart attack in a nightclub.
Russian investigators launched an investigation into the death of the 32 year old Nigerian identified as Gabriel Segun Ajayi due to an alarm raised by the Nigerian embassy in Moscow.
The deceased Nigerian was married to a 50 year old Russian woman before dying in a dance club on October 12 in the city of Cherepovets, about 500 km north of Moscow, and according to investigators, the cause of death would be determined after a forensic examination.
The Nigerian alongside his wife had captured attention in the Russian media due to the 18 years age difference between the couple.

The Russian media was also interested in the ‘Nigerian Prince’ who left his ‘palace’ in Nigeria to come live with his wife in rural Russia.
The Nigerian embassy in Moscow however raised an alarm over the death of the Nigerian national suspecting foul play on the part of his Russian wife.
The couple had also captured the attention of Russian daytime talk shows with their romance and the fact that this Nigerian Prince was not a scam.
