Nigeria international Ogenyi Onazi, who plays for Seria-A club Lazio, has extended his contract with the club by two years.
Onazi gained international attention after his wonderful performance at the 2009 FIFA U-17 World Cup, he later began his career with Lazio youth team in 2011.
Following an impressive start, the youngster was promoted to the senior team with a four-year contract that was to end in 2016.
Reports this morning from Italy claims the 21-year-old will continue playing at Stadio Olimpico till june 2018 after his agent Jonathan Barnett struck a deal with the club to extend his initial contract for another two years.
While an official club statement is due to be released this week, the report also claimed he will now earn €650k yearly with a buy-out clause of €10m.
