National Leader of All Progressives Congress (APC), Asiwaju Bola Tinubu on Saturday paid a courtesy call on Chief Whip of the Senate, Senator Orji Uzor Kalu at his residence in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT).
Tinubu arrived Kalu’s residence at 4:25 pm and left at about 6:45 pm, the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reported.
After a meeting held behind closed doors, Tinubu told journalists that, that the meeting with the former governor of Abia centred on the development of the country.
“We discussed the way forward for the country and this country is important and greater than any one’s personal ambition.
“We have been together and concerned about the stability, progress, development and security of the country.
“The future of our youth is more critically important than selfish and personal intentions,’’ he said.
