President Muhammadu Buhari was in Kano State today for the All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential campaign rally where he was welcomed by thousands of enthusiastic supporters.
Among the dignitaries that turned out to welcome the president were the governors of Zinder and Maradi in Niger Republic.
The Special Assistant on Media to the Kano State Governor, Salihu Tanko Yakassai, disclosed this in a tweet.

While Zinder is the second largest city in Niger with a population of 170,574, Maradi is the country’s third largest city with a population of 148,017.
Recall that President Buhari won 1,903,999 votes in Kano in the 2015 presidential election.
