Documents obtained by ET revealed that Petty was recorded making threatening statements towards a specific individual while in the company of an individual with a criminal record. This incident led to a court order filed in the Central District of California mandating 120 days of home detention for Petty.

The judge’s decision aims to closely monitor Petty’s activities during this period. As part of the monitoring process, Petty may be required to wear an electronic GPS ankle bracelet, although this aspect has yet to be finalized.

The recorded videos, filled with expletives, were shared on social media on September 16 and featured Petty and two other individuals standing on a New York City sidewalk, repeatedly referencing Offset. Petty’s threatening statements included remarks such as, “You plan that vacation, you’ll be planning your funeral.
