Despite her status as the best-selling female rapper globally, Minaj has notably never won a Grammy Award. Earlier this year, she believed she had finally secured the prestigious honor when a tweet from the Recording Academy mistakenly announced her collaboration “Barbie World” with Ice Spice as the winner of the Best Rap Song category. However, the excitement was short-lived when the Academy corrected the announcement, naming Killer Mike’s “Scientists & Engineers” as the rightful winner.
