NFF Appoints New Chief Operating Officer for Nigeria National League

The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) has appointed Danlami Alanana as the new Chief Operating Officer (COO) of the Nigeria National League (NNL). Alanana replaces Ayo Abdulrahman, who has been redeployed to Inter-Club Competitions at the NFF.

Alanana’s Background and Experience

Alanana has extensive experience in Nigerian football, having served in various capacities at the NFF, Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL), and Nigeria Women Football League (NWFL). He was the first Executive Secretary of the NWFL and previously headed the Inter-clubs department at the NFF.

New Role and Responsibilities

As COO, Alanana will oversee the day-to-day operations of the NNL, ensuring the smooth running of the league. His appointment is expected to bring stability and expertise to the league, which is currently in its second stanza of the 2024/25 season.
