On Sunday police arrested, Hani, a 37-year-old migrant from Cianjur in West Java, the alleged mother of a new-born baby who was found dead in an airplane toilet at Jakarta’s International Airport in Indonesia.
Ahmad Yusef, airport police chief said “She didn’t look healthy and won’t be questioned until she is fit. The woman is now at the airport’s health centre.”
Francesco Calore a passenger had this to say “Hani started bleeding around 4 hours after takeoff, causing the plan to change route to Bangkok. The woman was in economy class but then laid on a business-class seat with an oxygen mask. The captain then announced we should divert to Bangkok.”
“A medical team boarded the plane to evacuate Hani after the Etihad Airbus A330 landed at Bangkok’s Suvarnabhumi International Airport” he added.
Afterwards The flight departed for Jakarta about an hour later. Hani boarded a later flight.
The dead baby was found in the drawers of the airplane toilet wrapped in a plastic bag by the aircraft cleaners. The cause of death is yet to be determined.
