Microsoft’s Your Phone app keeps getting better with every update. The app now lets users pick-up Android phone calls on PC.
Windows 10 Insiders got the app last October and after extensive testing and feedback, the app has now rolled out to everyone.
Your Phone app helps keep your PC and mobile device in a symbiotic relationship. Beyond picking calls, users can reply messages from the PC app seamlessly linking with the mobile experience. By giving you notifications on your PC, the Your Phone app makes sure you don’t miss a thing for those periods when you are glued to your PC and can’t reach your phone.
MSPoweruser spotted this development and noted that enabling the phone calls feature requires permissions on your PC (unsurprisingly).
There is an integrated in-app dialer for initiating calls from your PC and you can also access your contacts.
For calls, you don’t want to take, simply decline it with a predefined or custom message or send it to voicemail. The app also keeps a log of recent calls much like the Phonology app on android devices.
Microsoft is reportedly working on a handy file-transfer feature that lets you easily transfer files from your PC to your Android device.
