Arsenal midfielder Aaron Ramsey is set to leave the club after they decided not to offer the Welshman a new contract
Ramsey is in the last year of his contract and it now seems quite possible that he could be on his way to Germany to join Bayern Munich
According to Goal.com, Bayern are looking to add the midfielder to bolster their ranks and due to his contract situation, they will be free to holds talks with him from the 1st of January and he can sign a pre-contract with them ahead of a move in the summer
Ramsey has been with the London club for over a decade and has so far won 3 FA cup titles, scoring the winning goal on two occasions.

He said he was unsure as to why his contract offer was rescinded
“There is no contract on the table at the moment so there is nothing for me to consider.” he said
“We all know that the contract was taken away off the table. I’m not sure exactly why because a few weeks before we sort of agreed and I was ready to sign.
“Something happened, I am not sure exactly what, but that contract is no longer there, or nothing’s on the table.”
As for who he could replace at Bayern, James Rodriguez is currently nursing an injury and it seems he could be one to face the chopping block to create space for Ramsey.
