Media personality Nedu Wazobia, in a candid revelation during an interview on MTV Base Africa’s program, MTV Base Sparks, opened up about the difficulties he faced during his previous marriage to Uzoamaka Ohiri. The comedian, who divorced his ex-wife in 2018 over paternity fraud accusations, admitted that this period was the most challenging time of his life. Despite dealing with anxiety attacks due to the marriage troubles in 2017 and 2018, Nedu continued to create humorous videos to entertain his audience, masking his personal struggles.
Nedu highlighted that even though he appeared cheerful on the outside, he was battling inner turmoil during that time. However, he credited another woman, who unknowingly became instrumental in his healing process, for helping him cope with the emotional pain. Although he had not yet officially ended his marriage, he claimed to have been “healed” before moving on, emphasizing the importance of healing before being able to move forward.
Today, Nedu asserts that he has completely healed from that challenging situation, reaching a full recovery of 150 percent. He mentioned that this healing process had begun even before he decided to end his marriage and that it took some time before he felt completely healed.
