The National Association of Polytechnic Students (NAPS) has begged for timely resolve of the dichotomy existing between holders of Bachelor of Science and Higher National Diploma Certificates.
NAPS in a communique signed by its National Vice President, Ijadunoye Olasunkanmi has begged for the dichotomy to be resolved so as to improve the education standard in the country, describing the fight against dichotomy as a fight between a hunter and a Gorilla promising the body will never get tired in fighting against the cause.
The body in the communique also pleaded with the Ogun state government for intervention against the recent increase in Cummulative Grade Point Accumulation for prospective Higher National Diploma (HND) students at the Moshood Abiola Polytechnic explaining that the management’s decision to admit students with 2.75 GP could be counter productive.
NAPS also described the alleged charge of exorbitant fees for change of course as a breach of contract agreement by the management.
