Nigerian singer Naira Marley and his close associate, Sam Larry, have surfaced in public for the first time in weeks following their arrest in connection with the death of musician Mohbad. The duo, captured in a viral video, were seen reuniting with Marley’s signee, Zinoleesky, signaling their return to the public eye after a period of legal entanglement.
This development comes on the heels of a recent decision by a Magistrate Court in Yaba, Lagos State, granting bail to the Marlian Music boss and Sam Larry. The bail was set at N20 million, and the court ordered Naira Marley and Sam Larry to submit their international passports as part of the conditions. Additionally, the magistrate mandated them to make weekly appearances at the State Criminal Investigation Department (CID).
Naira Marley, Sam Larry, and two others had been arraigned on October 6, facing allegations related to the death of former Marlian Music signee, Ilerioluwa Aloba, popularly known as Mohbad.
The public appearance of Naira Marley and Sam Larry has stirred mixed reactions, with many expressing disinterest in their release and maintaining optimism that justice will be served for Mohbad.
