The naira on Thursday appreciated against the dollar at the investors’ window selling at N362.32 to the dollar against N363.06 on Wednesday.
The Nigerian currency, however, deprecated marginally at the parallel market exchanging at N360 to the dollar from N359 posted on Wednesday.
It closed at N469 and N417 to the Pounds Sterling and the Euro, respectively at the parallel market.
At the Bureau De Change segment, the naira traded at N360 to the dollar, while the Pound Sterling and the Euro closed at N469 and N417, respectively.
The naira was N306.10 to the dollar at the Central Bank of Nigeria official window.
The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that the investors window was created to boost liquidity at the nation’s foreign exchange market.
The platform has afforded importers and exporters the opportunity to agree at a stipulated amount for the dollar.
Since its inception, the window has sold over 3.8 billion dollars.(NAN)
