Ten days after sending N1 million from her Kuda Bank account to a Guaranty Trust Bank (GTB) account, a lady, Halima Shittu has taken to social media to ask for help locating the missing funds.
In a Twitter thread that went viral on Friday, Shittu explained that she transferred a single sum of N1 million from the Kuda Bank account to a GTB account on Tuesday, August 2, and got notification of successful transaction.
She said that the intended recipient has not received the funds as of Friday, August 12, ten days after the transaction was done.
Shittu tagged Kuda Bank, GTB and the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) to her online complaint.
She explained that she had contacted GTB on various occasions with the transaction ID to facilitate tracking of the funds.
“But they concluded on their part that no record was found for the said transaction,” she wrote.
She added that she also contacted Kuda Bank and the Nigeria Inter-Bank Settlement System Plc (NIBSS), the platform handling inter-bank payments in the country.
Shittu noted that all her efforts proved futile.
