Spanish defender Sergio Ramos has shrugged off the boos he received from England fans stating that no one remembers the death threats
The Real Madrid defender has become something of a pantomime villain ever since Madrid won the Champions League against Liverpool.
He was largely blamed for the injury Mohamed Salah suffered during the game, something he’s refused to apologize for stating that his conscience is clear on the incident.
This was after the game against England in the UEFA League of Nations which Spain won 2-1 and there was a lot of controversy here too as John Stones was penalized with a yellow card for an amazing tackle while England also had a goal disallowed after Danny Welbeck was adjudged to have fouled David De Gea before swivelling and scoring, the goal looked perfectly legitimate to many including Gareth Southgate who lost it on the sidelines.

Sergio Ramos was greeted with boos all through the Madrid and the Real Madrid ace was keen to shrug it off.
“I would’ve liked another reception,” he admitted in the aftermath of the Nations League clash. “Everyone remembers the final but nobody remembers the death threats that my family and my children received.”
Sergio Ramos also reflected on the win and said he was happy that the new era under Luis Enrique started with a victory.
“We started a new era with a coach who has a lot of experience and what better way to win at Wembley,” he said
Spain will take on World Cup finalists Croatia on Tuesday and Ramos said he would be pleased to link up with his Real Madrid team-mate Luka Modric.
“There are few players that I am as proud of as Luka Modric,” he said. “He merited being named FIFA’s The Best – I was as happy for him as if they had given it to me.”
