Celine Maria Claudetta Dion, was teary eyed and overwhelmed with emotions as she performed a 90-minute show which got her eight standing ovations from the crowd at the sold out show.
The Canadian musician was married to her manager Rene Angelil, who helped in establishing her music career by mortgaging his home to finance her first record.
Rene and Celine lived together in their home and had three boys together. Rene Angelil, died recently from complications of cancer at the age of 59.
An emotional Celine Dion, during her performance told the crowd that her husband is with her daily in all that she does.
The Musician talked about the healing with her three sons, and her continued grief over the loss of her husband, Rene Angelil.
According to Celine, her sons feel more settled at being back in their Vegas home, where their father died, and that she feels her husband’s ghost at her side.
She said to the crowd after her performance, “My wonderful dear husband is here tonight with us. I am so sure. ”
