It seems the ‘hip hop bug’ has caught our Fuji musicians. First was Pasuma, now the ‘paramount king of Fuji’ Abass Akande Obesere revealed in a chat with HipTV he would also be releasing a hip hop themed album.
He said it was the desire to diversify his sound that led to him making a hip hop album.
“As a musician, one should not be limited to a particular genre of music. In my own case, my hip hop album has been in the making for a long time.”
Going further, he also revealed the list of musicians that would be featured on the album.
I’ve worked with the likes of Reminisce, Timaya, Lord of Ajasa amongst others. My fans should just keep their fingers crossed.”
