Cristiano Ronaldo has stated that while he feels Salah deserves his Puskas award, his goal in the Champions League was the most beautiful.
The Portuguese forward snubbed the award ceremony reportedly after finding out that he would not be winning the Ballon D’or
His former Real Madrid team-mate Luka Modric won the coveted award, becoming the first player outside the Ronaldo/Messi axis to win the award in about a decade.

Ronaldo was also snubbed for the Puskas award which awards the best goal scored in the season. His goal against Juventus was deemed by many to be the best goal of the tournament, instead, Mo Salah won it with his strike against Everton.
The Portugal international did a question and answer session on his Instagram account and there he reacted to his goal getting the snub.
“Salah deserved to win the Puskas Prize, he scored a nice goal,
“But let’s be honest, do not lie to us, my goal was the most beautiful.
“I’m not disappointed, it’s life, sometimes we win and others lose.
“What interests me is that in fifteen years of career I managed to maintain the same level of performance.”
