Former Vice President Atiku Abubakar has said that his decision to vie for the 2019 presidential election was to ensure the country’s survival.
Atiku said this on Wednesday in Lagos while delivering his address at the inauguration of the Atiku Mandate Group (TAM-G).
The Waziri Adamawa, who was National President and Chairman of the All Atiku Support Groups, Oladimeji Fabiyi, said he would bring back Nigeria’s past glory.
He identified economic transformation, greater inter-ethnic harmony and improved security as major focus areas of his would-be administration.
“The Atiku campaign mantra will focus on the acronym (JOBS), which literally means creating jobs for the teeming majority of unemployed Nigerian youths; creating opportunities and the enabling environment for Nigerians to excel in their individual endeavours; reconciling and uniting Nigerians and creating a sense of belonging among all the ethnic groups in the country; and providing adequate and enduring security for lives and property of all Nigerians at all levels,” he said.
He noted that the 2019 presidential bid was “not about him as a person but for the survival of Nigeria.”
Nigerians needs JOBS, better life and are yelling for good governance which the APC/Buhari has after three years failed to deliver to Nigerians, 2019 is the time for Nigerians to try a more prepared and focused Leader in the person Atiku Abubakar.
We believe with him better days are sure and Nigeria will be great again.
