Pankyes told the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN), on Sunday in Jos that some of the trainees had since established their own studios and businesses and were “doing very well”.
The producer, however, said that musical equipment were very expensive.
“Musical equipment are very costly; most of the trained youths are very talented, but they are yet to find resources to start up a studio.
“Most of these youths are only looking for sponsors and investors to brave their way into this capital intensive venture; if they can get a little push, the sky will be their limit,” he said.
Pankyes said that he would train “at least 1000 youths this year” and solicit for funds to enable them start up their businesses.
The producer, who had won several accolades such as king of music 2007, JOGAMA awards producer of the year 2016, Afro hip hop song of the year 2019, among others, said that diligence was his watch word.
He, however, said that more could be done if organisations and individuals partner with him to get more youths off the streets.
