Female musician Muma Dee while speaking in a recent interview said she lost a lot of money while contesting for a House of Representatives ticket in the last general elections. She also said her account is in ‘red’ presently but she hopes to recover.
“I lost a lot of money. I am in red now but I know I will recover.” she said despite saying it shouldn’t be about money at the time of her declaration last year. “All I know is that there was no election in my state. I don’t regret that I wanted to salvage the ruins in my community and liberate my people. It was just that somebody robbed us the chances of doing that. If the people had the privilege to vote, I would be representing them by now.”
The mother of twins, who is married to popular actor, Prince Eke, contested as a candidate during the primaries of the PDP in the last elections aiming to represent Rivers State as a member of the House of Representatives.
