Over 11 persons have been killed in multiple bombings in Maiduguri, Tuesday night.
According to NAN, the first and second explosions took place at about 9.45 p.m. at Mulaikalmari, – six kilometers away from Maiduguri.
Speaking further, the source added that eight people, including the suicide bombers, died in the attack.
Also, three persons were killed and five others injured the third and fourth explosions, which occurred about 20 minutes later at Polo-Sabon Gari area of Maiduguri.
“All the attacks occurred in the outskirts of the metropolis,” the source said.
“It is a foiled attempt by Boko Haram insurgents to infiltrate the town.”
Security operatives have been drafted to the scene of the incident while the wounded have been admitted at a Specialist Hospital in the city.
The Police have not responded to the development but the State Emergency Management Agency have revealed that their officials are already at the scene.
