Masters degree holders are among candidates seeking employment to teach primary school pupils in Kaduna.
This was revealed in a list containing qualifications of applicants pasted by the state government at different examination centres for candidates.
Recall that the state government had sacked 21,000 teachers after they failed competency tests conducted in June.
The administration of Governor Nasir el-Rufai thereafter proceeded to call for applications for 25,000 primary school teaching positions.
It was gathered that at least two of the 43,806 applicants vying for the 25,000 jobs hold masters degrees.
On a list posted at Rimi College, one of the examination centres, two of the candidates had a masters degree each in Biochemistry and Water Resources.
According to reports, the screening examination held in 130 centres across all the 23 local governments in the state.
