2 Min Read

The Wife of the President, Hajiya Aisha Buhari, has reiterated the commitment of the present administration to the implementation of the Change agenda.

Mrs Buhari said this while launching the Daura Senatorial Zone chapter of the Change Begins With Me campaign on Thursday in Daura, Katsina State.

She was represented by the Wife of Jigawa Governor, Hajiya Magajiya Badaru.

The event was organised by Katsina Women Forum to sensitise the people of the zone to the importance of the Change agenda.

She said the administration of Muhammadu Buhari was poised to introduce changes in the attitudes of Nigerians, especially women, civil servants and the general public for a better Nigeria.

She described women as agents of change especially considering the fact that they played vital role in training and nurturing of children as well as the general upkeep of their homes.

The wife of the president commended the forum for organising the event, describing it as desirous and timely.

“We would continue to support such initiatives; the earlier we embrace Change the better for us and posterity,’’ she said.

The Chairperson of the Forum, Hajiya Amina Mani, said the aim of the campaign was to sensitise the people to the need to key into the Change agenda to create a better Nigeria free from corruption and other vices.

The Secretary to the State Government,Dr Mustapha Inuwa, lauded the efforts of the forum in enlightening the public on the Change mantra.

Inuwa reiterated the commitment of the state government to propagating the Change agenda in all parts of the state. (NAN)
