Nigerian content creator and actor, Mr Macaroni, has revealed his struggles with debt and financial instability, stating that he accumulated a whopping N500 million in debt.
In a lengthy post on his social media handle, Mr Macaroni shared that he was a victim of a scam and a failed investment in 2021, which led to him losing all his savings.
To settle pending commitments, he resorted to borrowing money from different sources, which eventually led to his debt accumulating to N500 million.
Mr Macaroni admitted to being financially reckless and generous, which negatively impacted his financial stability.
The actor stated that 2024 was a pivotal moment in his career but also the most challenging year for him due to his debt.
However, with the support of family and friends, Mr Macaroni said he now feels better than he has in the last three years.
He shared his story to encourage others who are going through similar challenges.
