The marriage of Jasmine, daughter of popular actor John Okafor aka Mr Ibu, has crashed just nine months after it was contracted.
Jasmine announced the end of the marriage to husband MD, as she identified him, on Instagram on Monday.
The TikTok creator said MD, who is based abroad, lied to her about a previous marriage and children.
“This was the best nine months of my life! I have no regrets whatsoever! I just won’t settle for asking you about this severally before we start!
“Finding out today from your mum really broke me! A foundation built upon a tiny lie won’t stand! I love how you loved me! But hate how you never mentioned your divorce or kids to me!
“Moving on, I don’t think I want anybody else! Just gonna love you from a distance,” Jasmine wrote.
She had recently narrated how her romance with MD began on TikTok.
She recounted how he flew from the US to Gambia to see her two months after they began talking on TikTok and proposed four days after the physical meeting.
