Evander Holyfield made waves when he built his mega-mansion in Georgia. Built in 1994, designed by Atlanta architects PFVS, the European inspired mega mansion has an astounding 45,000 square feet and is situated on 104 acres. The address, 794 Evander Holyfield Highway, will at least give Holyfield some satisfaction of what once was.
This massive home now has a new owner in Miami rapper Rick Ross. Evander Holyfield reportedly owed more than $14 million on the home and sold the home in a public auction to settle foreclosure. The home reportedly costs $1 million annually to maintain, which should not be a shock as it is the biggest home in the state of Georgia.
The Fayetteville, GA home has 12 bedrooms, 21 bathrooms, a massive 3-story rotunda foyer with grand marble double staircase, a banquet-sized dining room that can fit 100 people, 2-lane bowling alley and an indoor swimming pool are just some of the features on this huge home.
Another of the homes biggest features is the 350,000 gallon swimming pool, which makes it one of the largest private pools in the US, there is also a 4000 square foot 2nd home on the property and a 7-stall barn. Wow !!!
Rick Ross got a heckuva deal too !! The home was reportedly built for a whopping $50 million, however Rozay was able to get the property for a steal at $7.5 million. Considering rappers are spending $250K-$2 million on CARS, at least the home comes with 109 rooms and even a 135-seat movie theater.
Rick Ross does a lot of business in Georgia, as Atlanta has become quite the Southern music mecca and the home could very easily be used for business purposes as well as recreational.
