As reported by Sport Witness , Spanish online newspaper El Confidencial are ‘100% certain’ that Jose Mourinho will be the manager of Manchester United next season.
On top of this, Sport Witness also quote sources from Portugal, which state that agent Jorge Mendes has done his job, and the former Real Madrid and Chelsea boss will replace Louis van Gaal, meaning the 64- year-old can not fulfill his desire to see out his contract at Old Trafford.
With Manchester United struggling to hit their former heights under Louis van Gaal, and Pep Guardiola’s imminent arrival on the other side of town, it makes sense to bring in a top level manager such as Mourinho.
Guardiola and Mourinho have faced off before as managers of Barcelona and Real Madrid, so seeing them go head to head in the Manchester Derby next season would be interesting to say the least.
