Ibrahim Magu, Acting Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has disclosed that mothers of Internet fraudsters popularly known as Yahoo Boys have formed an association to protest the arrest of their sons by EFCC operatives.
The EFCC Acting Chairman made this disclosure at the ongoing EFCC stakeholders conference on Crusade Against Cybercrime at the anti-graft agency office in Lagos, according to The Nation.
The Lagos office of the EFCC has arrested over 300 internet fraudsters also known as Yahoo boys between January and October, and convicted 200 of them.
