Ekiti State Chapter of the All Progressives Congress has urged President Muhammadu Buhari and the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission to closely monitor the N2.1 billion Bailout to the state.
The Party in a by its Publicity Secretary, Taiwo Olatunbosun explained that to prevent misappropriation of the funds by the state governor, Ayodele Fayose, the President and the EFCC must keep a close eye on him.
The party also suggested that the Presidency should order the Chief of Army Staff, Lt. Gen. Kenneth Minimah, to remove the men of the Nigeria Army attached to the convoy of Governor in order to prevent misuse of security agencies.
The party commended Buhari for the bailout plan for states to settle outstanding worker’s salary because this will help to return the nation to the path of productivity and restore hope to the nation.
