Police in Sharjah, United Arab Emirates have arrested an Indonesian house maid who allegedly killed her son because he was born out of wedlock.
The 27-year-old woman was arrested on Saturday after police received a tip-off from a cleaner of the Beeah, the Sharjah Environment Company.
The baby was found wrapped and buried inside in a park in the area, and a police patrol team moved the remains to a laboratory for forensic tests.
Police launched a manhunt for the maid who was working for an Arab family illegally and arrested her not long after.
Police are also on the lookout for the father of the baby, who aided the woman in committing the crime.
