Adura Aloba, the younger brother of late singer Mohbad, has been arrested by the police alongside two others, including his friend, Ibrahim Koleosho, aka King White.
The arrest occurred on Wednesday, shortly after Adura left the Lagos State Magistrates Court in Ogba, where he was attending a legal proceeding. His mother, Abosede Aloba, has accused popular Nollywood actor and rights activist, Yomi Fabiyi, of being responsible for Adura’s arrest.
Abosede claimed in a viral video that Adura was taken away by unknown gunmen suspected to be police officers. She pleaded with Nigerians to come to her rescue, stating that Adura is innocent and was arrested despite being sick.
The arrest is reportedly connected to a legal case involving a phone Adura sold to Damola Ayinde. Adura had accused Ayinde and Yomi Fabiyi of using the phone to damage his reputation by hacking his TikTok account.
The circumstances surrounding Adura’s arrest are still unclear, and it is uncertain what charges he may face.
