A Magistrate’s Court sitting in Yaba, Lagos State, has granted singer, Azeez Fashola, also known as Naira Marley, and Lagos socialite, Balogun Eletu, known as Sam Larry, bail in the sum of N20 million.
The defendants are also to present three responsible sureties.
The magistrate, Adeola Olatunbosun, ordered the defendants to submit their passports and ordered that they are to report weekly to the State Criminal Investigation Department (SCID), Panti.
The magistrate also warned that no one should contact her directly over the case, saying she would not hesitate to expose such contact in open court.
The police had arraigned Naira Marley and Sam Larry in connection with the death of 27-year-old musician, Ilerioluwa Aloba, popularly known as Mohbad.
Naira Marley owns Marlian Records, a record label to which Mohbad was signed until October 2022.
The late musician’s time at the label was marred by alleged harassment and bullying orchestrated by Naira Marley and his associate, Sam Larry.
