Meta CEO, Mark Zuckerberg has undergone a surgery to replace a torn Anterior Cruciate Ligament (ACL). .
In a Facebook post, the tech billionaire disclosed that he sustained the injury during sparring ahead of a competitive MMA fight he has lined up for early 2024.
He said that the fight has been delayed due to his injury.
Recall that Zuckerberg and fellow billionaire, Elon Musk hinted about the possibility of battling each other in the ring but this never saw the light of day.
“Tore my ACL sparring and just got out of surgery to replace it.
“Grateful for the doctors and team taking care of me.
“I was training for a competitive MMA fight early next year, but now that’s delayed a bit.
“Still looking forward to it after I recover. Thanks to everyone for the love and support,” Zuckerberg wrote.
