Chinese Club, Shanghai SIPG is reportedly offering Super Eagles captain John Obi Mikel a weekly salary of about N66 million.
According to reports, the offer was made to the player’s agent after the 2018 FIFA World Cup Qualifier against Algeria.
Mikel has reportedly been frozen out by Antonoi Conte, Chelsea’s coach, but he is also being linked to a move in January to French club, Marseille.
Mikel is reportedly faced with the choice of taking Shanghai SIPG’s offer or settling for a move to France, where he faces a pay cut.
Shanghai SIPG, which currently has in its squad former Super Eagles striker, Obafemi Martins is rated third in terms of wealth and revenue in the Chinese league and currently managed by former Chelsea coach, Andre villas-Boas.
