It was an extra-ordinary Saturday in the city of Lagos, an atmosphere of accolades as individuals who have reached acme in the Nigeria movie industry were recognized and awarded.

The Intercontinental Hotel in Lagos was filled with the aura that smeared from glamorous and alluring actors and actresses who came in mass for the 2014 edition of the Nollywood Movies Awards (NMA).

Eagerness was heightened, efforts were rewarded and the event was a success to behold.

Actor Mike Ezuruonye smiled home with the award for the Best Lead Male; he was paired by Ireti Doyle who received the Best Lead Female award.

Veteran filmmaker and cinematographer Tunde Kelani was honored with NMA Lifetime Achievement Award 2014.

 

Other big winners include Lucky Ejim, Kenneth Gyang, Ojulade Adekula, Mercy Johnson and many others.
