The Xiaomi Mi A3 has been released in Nigeria and can be purchased from some online stores. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 7 Pro was a success in the Nigerian market and Xiaomi will be expecting big things if not bigger from their new mid-range leader. Xiaomi is known for build mid-range budget phones packing a flagship experience. From the Pocophone to Redmi Note Series and Mi A Series, Xiaomi has continued to dazzle us.
Xiaomi recently opened shop in Nigeria much to the delight of thousands of expectant fans. I for one have been expecting Xiaomi to open a Nigerian office since last year, so you can imagine my joy when finally they did.
Today we review the Mi A3 which is a sequel to the Mi A2 released earlier this year. So let’s dive in.

The triple AI Camera feature is something a lot of phone manufacturers are doing this day. It will be surprising if Xiaomi did anything less. The 48MP Sensor does get a lot of details into your composition if you know what I mean.

Display
I’m both impressed and disappointed with Xiaomi on this one. First, I think the AMOLED screen is great. In fact superb. It all went downhill for me with the HD+ display. I think Xaomi could have done better with such a full feature phone. Gorilla Glass 5 is great but considering they’ve gone with a more compact screen size which definitely improves the PPI. So not bad.

To conclude, the odds are for this one. I think the Mi A3 would go on and do well in the market. It’s a great phone. Barring the low resolution which is a bit surprising and totally inconsistent with a rich feature set, the Mi A3 indeed a great phone.
The phone costs around #88,000 to #106,000 in Nigeria and can be ordered online.
