Barcelona and Argentine forward, Lionel Messi, has been crowned with the Goal of the Tournament award for the just concluded UEFA Champions League.
Messi won the prize with his goal for Barca against Liverpool in the first leg of the Champions League semi-final.
The spectacular free-kick garnered more votes from fans than second-placed Cristiano Ronaldo’s half-volley against Manchester United in the group stages.

Ivan Rakitic’s volley at Tottenham Hotspur came third, while Arjen Robben’s strike against Benfica was the third runner-up.
Messi also finished the campaign as the tournament’s top scorer with 12 goals.
