The Spanish El-Clasico will take place next weekend and for the first time, both Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi will not be present.
While Ronaldo has moved on and is now in Italy with Juventus, Messi fractured his arm in the game against Sevilla.
The Argentine superstar fell rather awkwardly on his arm and required treatment. It was finally decided that he could not go on and he was taken off.
Barcelona have confirmed that Messi has fractured a bone in his right arm, ruling him out for the next three weeks with him missing games against Madrid and a date with Inter Milan in the Champions League.

Messi did not leave the game without leaving a mark, scoring one and assisting another in his 17 minutes on the pitch
The team went on to win the game 4-2 with goals from Coutinho, Rakitic and Suarez adding to Messi’s 12 minute goal.
Ronaldo and the Argentine maestro have enjoyed one of the greatest rivalries in football and the classico was always an exciting affair as the two graced the pitch and dragged their team to victory or suffered the ignominy of defeat.
Now for the first time, the two superstars will not be partaking in the game and it is one of the first signals that this could be the beginning of the end of what has been a fabulous era in football.
