Nollywood actress, Mercy Aigbe could not control her emotions after her daughter gave her a surprise on her 45th birthday.
The popular filmmaker shed tears of joy as balloons, cards, a cake and other gifts were brought into her residence by a company contracted by her daughter to make the day special.
Aigbe took to her Instagram page which has more than 11 million followers to share a video of the moment on Sunday.
In the video, Asa’s Mama can be heard playing softly in the background as Mercy Aigbe burst into tears.
Her husband, Kazim Adeoti aka Adekaz, playfully reminded the mother of two that she was beginning to eat the fruit of her labour.
“I am such a cry baby,” Mercy Aigbe captioned the video.
She added, “I don’t even know what to type right now. 🥲 Michelle @michelleio__ you really surprised me.
“Even though we are many miles apart, you were still able to surprise me.
“Makes me know that I’m always on your mind, just like you’re always in mine.
“Thank you so much my darling daughter, God bless and keep you for me. I love you.❤️
