Meghan Markle Threatens Lawsuit Over Photos Taken Of Archie While Hiking

2 Min Read

Earlier on, a few photos of Meghan Markle walking Archie and her dogs in Canada  surfaced on internet, as a result, Meghan Markle has decided to sue.

According to Within Nigeria, the couple were upset after the pictures surfaced on line, therefore in a cease and desist letter sent to British media outlets by the couples lawyer on Tuesday, the couple clearly stated that legal action will be taken if they publish or purchase the pics of Meghan, Archie and 2 pups out for a walk on Vancouver Island.

The letter said: “There are serious safety concerns about how the paparazzi are driving and the risk to life they pose”, which is a clear reference to Princess Diana’s tragic death while dodging the paparazzi in Paris.

According to Meghan Markle, the photographer who captured the shots hid in the bushes while spying on Meghan. They also noted that photographers have set up camp, armed with telephoto lenses, outside their home on Vancouver Island.

This was not a problem in England, as the Royals were protected by a strict rule of privacy which prevented the Royals from being photographed in public when they’re not making official appearances. But following their decision to leave the royal family, the privacy rule may no longer apply to them in Canada.
