Olugbenga Babalola, a Nigerian-born has been sworn-in as the new Mayor of the Royal Borough of Greenwich, South-East London.
This makes him the first African Mayor and also the First Nigerian Mayor of Greenwich.
The 59-year-old mayor who was sworn-in on Wdnesday May 25, 2016 is a married man with four children and one grandchild.
