Mayweather Is A Small, Scared Delusional Man – Mike Tyson

2 Min Read

‘Iron’ Mike Tyson has described Floyd Mayweather as “delusional” and a “small, scared man.”

America’s former heavyweight champion offered his opinion on the unbeaten American fighter after ‘Money’ insinuated he was a better fighter than the iconic Muhammad Ali.

Mayweather is never one to undersell his wares especially so when he is preparing for the most lucrative fight in boxing history on Saturday night against Manny Pacquiao in Las Vegas.

“No one can ever brainwash me to make me believe that Sugar Ray Robinson and Muhammad Ali was better than me. No one could ever brainwash me and tell me that,” said Mayweather.

Tyson strongly disagrees with such sentiment.

Speaking at the MGM Grand in Vegas, Tyson, who became the youngest heavyweight champion in history when he won the title in 1986 at the age of 20, said: “He’s very delusional. He can’t listen.

“If he was anything like Ali he would take his kids to school by himself. He can’t take his kids to school by himself. He’s a very small, scared man.

“Greatness is not guarding yourself from the people. Greatness is being accepted by the people.”

Tyson has given fresh backing for Manny Pacquiao ahead of the fight, with the former undisputed heavyweight king having previously predicted that the Filipino would have the measure of his opponent.

“Floyd doesn’t throw anywhere near 100 punches a round. He is more of a scientific fighter, he really plots a lot, he poses whereas Pacquiao is feinting and moving around,” he said.

“That’s just my opinion, Pacquiao has perpetual motion…he’s all over the God damn place.”
