The co-founder of Marvel comics and the creator of such beloved characters such as Iron Man and The Hulk, Stan Lee, is dead
He was survived by his daughter, JC, who said an ambulance rushed to his Hollywood Hills home and he was rushed to the hospital in an ambulance to Cedar’s Sinai Medical Center, where he died.
“My father loved all of his fans,” his daughter told Hollywood monitor TMZ. “He was the greatest, most decent man.”
Stan Lee started out in the comic business in 1939 and was the writer, editor and publisher for Marvel and in that time he was privy to the golden age of comic when the likes of Black Panther, Spider-Man, the X-Men, the Mighty Thor, Iron Man, the Fantastic Four, the Incredible Hulk, Daredevil and Ant-Man hit the pages.

He helped shape Marvel and position it into the juggernaut it is today.
Always the practical joker, Lee had a habit of appearing in cameo roles on all the Marvel movies with his last appearance being in Avengers: Infinity War where he was a bus driver driving Peter Parker’s school bus
“I felt someday I’d write the ‘Great American Novel’ and I didn’t want to use my real name on these silly little comics,” he once said, explaining why he had forsaken his given name, Stanley Lieber.
Stan Lee will always be remembered for what he did: bringing acceptance and a sense of community to readers all over the world.
He was 95 years old
