Mark Zuckerberg, creator of Facebook and one of the world’s richest men paid a visit to Nigeria and visited the Co-Creation Hub (CCHUB) to much fanfare.
The billionaire who was still only reported to be in Italy yesterday presenting a gift to Pope Francis took everyone by surprise with his visit.
Naturally he was swarmed as people flocked to him to take pictures and so on.
The purpose of his visit is to see how Facebook works in Nigeria, how it can be improved and how it can support tech development in Africa.
It’s also possible that Zuckerberg might have visited Abuja before heading to Lagos as a Facebook user claimed that her friend, Mahassin Quadri, met the Billionaire in Abuja today after winning a competition for mobile app development.
