One of football’s bad boys, Mario Balotelli might just be on the verge of settling in rather nicely in Nice France after the former Liverpool striker scored a brace on his debut.
The striker had shocked everyone when on transfer deadline day he moved from Liverpool to Nice, a significant step down from the likes of Inter, Manchester City and Liverpool.
Balotelli took only 7 minutes to score the first one, which was a penalty. He tucked it away nicely and in typical fashion didn’t celebrate rather just spread out his arms.
The opponents got back though with first Thauvin and then Gomis scoring to take the lead, but then Super Mario was on hand to head in an equalizer before a team mate got the third goal to seal a dramatic win for Nice.
While Balotelli was at Liverpool, he scored just one goal in 16 games.
