Senator Shehu Sani has slammed many political leaders and clerics for alleged double standards.
In a tweet on Wednesday, Sani, who represented Kaduna Central in the 8th Senate, accused the political and religious elite of keeping mute regarding Boko Haram insurgency but speaking out in condemnation of the Islamic Movement in Nigeria (IMN).
He condemned the practice, calling on the leaders to speak out against Boko Haram insurgency.
Sani said, “Many political leaders and Clerics in the north are more courageous when it comes to speaking out against the Islamic Movement in Nigeria (IMN) and cowardly when it comes to expressing their opinions on the Boko Haram.”
